Social Service

I am working with disabled to find their way to become independent and live the life the fullness without having to worry about Food, Money,Medicaid and Social Security. Yes that means I am working with you to get in Social Service.((Welfare)) I also know that some people do not like the idea of going there for helps  but I Learn to become more independent since I had my first child when I was 18 and when I knew I didnt have money, or a place to stay.  I got in to welfare and I realize I had and income and medicaid so I applied for Foodstamp, Cash Assistance and Child support because My childs father was never a round.  when they Approved me I have been On my case for so long till I was 27 years old. I had 3 more children then.  I knew if I got SSI It would belong to my children for a roof over their head . I got foodstamp worth $500.00 dollars a month so we could eat and My Cash Assistance was worth another $500.00 a month  It helps with bills and clothes and shoes on our feet.  and other than that I was able to save some of that money til next month comes I would buy things to make our home comfortable as well.  I became  independent for so long  till I had a ticket to work from social Security and Now im working at kmart as well so   you get to keep all of your Incomes and when taxes come  you can file and get more money back  like all the middle class does as normal you want it to be. all you have to do is make decision and find the next step to what it takes to work out for you and life and to make life better the way you want.  Obama is Now our president and he want to see new changes with us to become middle class.  Those I have typed on this, are the new way to become normal, independent , and Middle class.  NOW You all know the Law has changed for us and there will be no more discrimination against Disabled.  I am Looking Forward to meet new people like you and willing to work hard and help you get all the information you need.  Please do not hesistate to contact me!  Please help and get Making life better for disabled to grow.  I promised you God has a will for all of us  so please  be at your heart and pray for patients and let go and let god.

Fibromyalgia :: One name I wouldn't wish on a enemy.

I came to Aid-page. I like others are desperate , confused, and frightened. I am American. 4 years ago Independent and hopeful.

I lost everything because of an illness that wasn't taken seriously. So early diagnoses and the right Medications weren't given.

My body laked ability and function and I no longer was valued at my Job. I was fired. They call what I have Fibromyalgia. A big

name for a Illness and to some a Desies.,  But the one who suffers with it, its seen by the Medical Field and the Health Care system and sadly healthy  People as a made up

excuse for Medications, to no longer want daily responsibilities, and complainer. In the 4 years of seeking my help It was also

mandatory Psychiatry visits. One with many negative Tests of all kinds? Yets still complained must be nuts. Daily I was a walking

Pill in pain. I am now no different. I still suffer. I have no Magic Words to make them believe me, to help me. I' a Women of 47

continue to be denied help for an Illness I didn't ask for. Who at one long time ago had hopes and dreams as any Human being wants.

Today are figments. To beg People of power I willingly,, happily Voted for! Only to be ignored now, and sadly,, sadly waite

permission's of strangers to allow me disability money that rightfully belongs to me. Yet the Magic word I do not know? To them

I seem a complainer a Drug addict, or to no longer want responsibilities. How do I get someone to see, believe all I want is help I

rightfully deserve as an American. Why does my Government,, my State denie me the same wants and needs they freely have.

Please help a girl out!

I am a 21 year old divorced college student who is completely 100% independent. I pay my own living expenses and school expenses. Every semester I appeal to recieve a Gov. pell grant through FAFSA application due to my independence.

I have recently been accepted to the school of my dreams. However, it is going to cost quite a bit. I would like to find grant and scholarship funding to make it possible to attend and recieve an education that will help me to increase my contribution to society and reach my life goals.

Im Trying... but... its diffrent out here.

Hi, My name is Connie. I am 25 and am trying to make it. If this is really a way to ask for a bit of help then what have I got to lose.
I was an escort for a while and felt finnacially independent.... I have a son and just found out that i have another one on the way. I wanted to do the right thing, and not endanger my new little one and try and do something positive. So i quit escorting and am currently trying to find a job. Its not going too well. I don't want to go back to escorting. Im not giving up, but dammit the bills are pileing up!!! I have asked my neice to take my son for the school year so he can be in a stable place because right now i do not know whats going to happen!!! I want to go back to school! I want a chance!! If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I am currently 2 months behind in rent. That is 1350. I have kept the utilities up, but my account is almost drained. You learn in these times that no matter how many people you helped out when you could, there not there when you need it.
I hope theres something out there. But if all i get is a prayer, then thats fine with me.

God bless,
Connie

I am a 24 year old Latina.  I come from a small immediate family, My mother (who passed away in May 2003), my father and an older sister.  My parents were divorced since I was 4 years old and my mother was raising us mainly on her own until the day she passed.

I love helping people, my goal in life is to open up an after school program for children and teens to help prevent them them from doing follish things.  As I see, these are the ones that will be running the USA in the future and therefore preparing them to make the right decisions is necessary at an early age. This is my long term goal.

Caretaker

I am an independent woman and care taker who currently makes no money because I am doing my internship.  I don't have the money to complete one more semester of college because the school decided to keep my summer tuition after I had to drop my classes due to my father's passing.  I am a very blessed and strong individual who relies on the Lord 500%.  He keeps me going everyday.

I am a fourth year senior at Auburn University.  Currently I am a Production Intern at the Dr. Phil show and make no money just like most interns.  I am living off of whatever I have saved up and taking care of aging grandparents and an ill uncle.  This summer my dad passed away and I had to drop my classes at school to come home.  I was only reimbursed HALF the money because I wasn't the primary care taker or the one who was sick.  This sounds much more sad than it is.  I really am blessed to have all I have which I feel is a lot (family, love, roof over head, etc.)

Hard working woman, degreed in a male dominated field, currently unemployed, due to the ways of Corporate America.  I wish to start my own business and escape the trappings and manipulations of what I have seen within Corporate America.  I have been laid off twice due to corporate layoffs, the first time for over 8 months and this time for over a year, and my funds are tapped out.  I need immediate cash flow to maintain a place to live and utilities as well as a small amount of funding, approximately $40,000 to go to the Women's Development Center and get additional funding to open my own business.  My business plan is complete, but I have been told that it will take approximately 3 months to get funding, once I have my portion of funding available.  Even though I do not currently have the funding, I am looking for the correct commercial property to lease on which to put my business.  With the right location(s) my business has the potential to make a half a million dollars per year (per location.)

I put myself through college while raising a child totally on my own.   I started college at the age of 28 and completed a 4 year engineering degree in 3 years because I was very determined to be self supportive.  I have always been very independent and ascertive in my desires, which probably explains how I got this far on my own.  Unfortunately, most of Corporate America is still very male dominated, and women like myself tend to make the "good old boys" slightly uncomfortable.
